Resumen
Mein Beitrag geht von der Hypothese aus, dass das Pathos des Verlangens nach dem Anderen, dessen Korrelat die Erfahrung der Angst vor der eigenen Endlichkeit und Unvollkommenheit ist, die Urstimmung bildet, welche den solipsistischen Verschluss des Selbst bricht und es dem Menschen möglich macht, jenseits seines eigenen ideellen Wesens zu gehen und dem faktischen Ruf des Anderen aufmerksam zuzuhören. Auf diese Weise wird das Geschehen der Offenbarung tatsächlich wirklich, da die Offenbarung für Rosenzweig gerade mit dem Ruf „Wo bist Du?” beginnt. Ausgehend von dieser Hypothese wollen die folgenden Betrachtungen zuerst bestimmen, wie die Idee und die Wirksamkeit eines ursprünglichen Verlangens im Kontext der Offenbarung im strengen Sinne zu verstehen ist. An zweiter Stelle wollen sie die Funktion des Verlangens als Pathos, welches das Verfallen in den Mystizismus verhindert und die Antwort auf den Ruf Gottes in Nächstenliebe verwandelt, auch im Bereich der Erlösung erläutern. Schlieβlich will dieser Beitrag erklären, in welchem Maβe der unaufhörliche Charakter des Verlangens, welches in jedem Anderen nach einem Du sucht, verhindert, dass das Ich und der Andere sich in einem verschlossenen Wir vereinigen, und so ermöglicht, eine Brücke zu einer dem Ihr immer geöffneten Religiosität zu schlagen.
