Resumen
This paper proposes a thorough methodology for the steady-state characterization of input and output current ripples in Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM) interleaved power converters, under inductance mismatch. The proposal analyses total ripple for any number of phases, any inductance ratio and operating point. Furthermore, calculation of amplitude, rms value and harmonic content of total input and output current ripples is presented. Experimental tests on a 5-phase boost converter are conducted under different conditions to verify the presented method.
