Resumen
En este trabajo, reconstruiremos el proceso de construcción del ´teatro de operaciones´ del sur tucumano como centro de la estrategia represiva del poder militar. Para ello, además de la experiencia de militancia, haremos foco en la estructura jurídico-política que posibilitó las masivas violaciones a los derechos humanos no sólo de aquellos acusados de pertenecer a la guerrilla rural o colaborar con ella- sino a los pobladores del sur tucumano. Y sostendremos que, frente a ese espacio de conflictividad política -luego del cierre de los ingenios azucareros- y de militancia secreta y clandestina de la guerrilla rural, el operativo represivo iniciado en febrero de 1975 operó como una vía para articular un dominio estatal efectivo en un espacio donde había habido un déficit de soberanía estatal y había estado marcado por una disputa por el control territorial. Como veremos, para la construcción del ´monte tucumano´ como ´teatro de operaciones´ las FFAA se valieron de una serie de estrategias para imponer su dominio estatal en ese espacio de disputa entre la guerrilla y las fuerzas represivas.El libro ha sido sometido a referato interno y externo por parte de la Prosecretaría de Gestión Editorial y Difusión, de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación, de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
