Resumen
The FADC-ES comprises the territories located east of an imaginary line projected from Bahía Aguirre to Policarpo Cove, known as Península Mitre . The Montes Negros and Atocha, Campana and Pirámide hills are situated there, at the southern coast, and the Arriola, Real and Bilbao hills, at the northern coast. Beyond the Straits of Le Maire, the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego is separated from Isla de los Estados, whose geologic continuity with the previous locality allows its inclusion as part of the Eastern Deformed Complex. The Deformed Complex of the Fuegian Andes in its eastern sector presents a clearer stratigraphic richness than in the western sector previously described in very significant correspondence with the geological features of Isla de los Estados.
