Resumen
Este libro cuestiona desde un enfoque social- a las políticas de producción de vivienda que encaró el Estado para solucionar uno de los problemas más acuciantes que afecta la Ciudad de Buenos Aires desde décadas: una crisis habitacional que ya afecta a un cuarto de su población.Para esto se estudian los modos de producción de vivienda que promovió el Estado local en los últimos quince años (llave en mano/autogestionario), analizando si la participación o no- de los destinatarios en el diseño y la construcción de las viviendas tiene algún impacto en el posterior uso y apropiación que hicieron las familias. Se indaga, además, si la participación social tuvo efectos de integración o segregación socio-urbana y si facilitó el acceso al derecho a un hábitat digno y una ciudad inclusiva.Lo relevante de esta investigación es que se interpela a la política habitacional desde la recuperación de la voz no sólo de los especialistas, sino también, la de los destinatarios de la producción estatal.
