Resumen
En su visita a la Argentina en 2019, Barbara Ivančič Kutin dio una conferencia en el Instituto de Filología y Literaturas Hispánicas “Amado Alonso” de la UBA, en la que presentó un panorama diacrónico de colecciones y archivos eslovenos. Destacó entonces que el primer recolector de narrativa tradicional fue Jan Baudouin de Courtenay (1845-1929), quien encaró entre 1872 y 1873 una investigación sobre dialectos y relevó material folklórico en Rezija, al oeste de Eslovenia.6 Este recolector esloveno invitó, a través de los periódicos, a que sus lectores recopilaran material dialectológico y folklórico, de acuerdo con instrucciones, parangonables a aquellas enviadas a los docentes por el Consejo Nacional de Educación en la Encuesta Folklórica de 1921. La invitación a recopilar material dialectológico se asemejó al propósito de las Encuestas enviadas a los docentes por Vidal de Battini, en su rol de Inspectora de Escuelas, en 1940, 1945, 1950, 1957, 1960 y 1964, de las que se ocuparon González y García en capítulos anteriores. El material recopilado por Baudouin de Courtenay se encuentra domiciliado en la Academia de Ciencias de San Petersburgo (Rusia)...
