dc.description.abstractThe 160 types of Aradoidea, Lygaeoidea and Pyrrhocoridae (Heteroptera) deposited in the Scientific Department of Entomology form the Museo de La Plata were listed. These types belong to 42 species. They were contributed by the following authors: Andre (1), Ashlok (2), Berg (18), Drake (2), Kormilev (8), and Slater & Wilcox (11). The status of holotype or "typus" and paratype is given as it is known or indicated in the description and/or label, (no new designations are made). For each taxón a complete information about original and valid names, publication, subsequent combination, collection data and condition is given.
