Catolicismo, política y sociedad en el Bicentenario de la Argentina

Abstract

El artículo se propone desentrañar la complejidad de los lazos enhebrados entre el Estado, el catolicismo, la sociedad política y la sociedad civil en 200 años de la historia argentina, con la expectativa de comprender con nitidez procesos, modalidades y formatos arraigados que definen nuestro funcionamiento como sociedad. A partir de un recorrido socio-histórico, se analizan las líneas hegemónicas al interior del catolicismo, los estadios en su proceso de institucionalización y sus interrelaciones con el mundo de lo social, lo político, lo estatal y lo público.

The article proposes to analyze the complexity of the ties between the State, the Catholicism, the political and civil society in 200 years of the Argentine history, with the expectation of understanding the processes, ways and deep-rooted forms that define our functioning as a society. From a socio-historical perspective, the principal points of this article are focused in the dynamic life of the catholicism, as well as interested in the processes of its institutionalization and the relationships between the social world, the political system, the state and the public thing.
