Resumen
Synthesis and characterization of hybrid multifunctional materials are important steps towards more complex structures in synthetic organic chemistry and polymer fields. In this chapter, we highlight the synthetic approaches and hierarchical strategies to manipulate the shape, architecture and morphology of nanostructures assembled or covalently bonded to specific substrates. Special attention is given to structure/property relationships derived of a controlled design of multi-branched and multifunctional materials.
