A través de este trabajo pretendemos honrar al padre y fundador del Departamento de Historia del Arte, Dr. Carlos Massini Correas. También ofrecemos una breve reflexión sobre su vida y su trabajo. El documento está dividido en cuatro áreas diferentes. A continuación se incluye un esbozo biográfico de esta personalidad eminente. La tercera parte recuerda la creación de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo y finalmente se ofrece una visión de su trabajo dentro del Departamento de Historia del Arte como presidente y parte del Instituto.Through this work we aim at honouring the father and founder of the Department of Art History, Carlos Massini Correas PhD. We a/so offer a brief reflection upon his lije and work. The document is divided into four different areas. The first one includes a biographical sketch of this eminent personality. The subsequent part recalls the creation of the National University of Cuyo.
