The Theoretical Rationale of the Existence of Electric and Magnetic Fields Spreading Instantaneously

Abstract

In this note, we show that the use of the Helmholtz vector decomposition theorem leads to the theoretical rationale of the existence of solenoidal electric and magnetic ¯elds which can spread instantaneously.
