Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic and autoimmune disease, which causes motor and cognitive impairment. Physical exercise is a means of minimizing the damage caused by the disease, and it is a physical and physical exercise that can lessen both types of damage. Objectives: This model examined the practice of Taigeiko in the cognitive and flexible aspects of MS patients. Design: Experimental study comparing the initial and final measures of physical and mental fitness in a group of MS patients. This study was to use the general practice (GE) and other part of the general control group (GC). Design: Nineteen people with MS were allocated into two groups. GE practiced Taigeiko 1h per day, 2 times per week, for 8 weeks. The CG only participated in the evaluations. The Expanded Disability State Scales (EDSS), cognitive assessment by Neupsilin tests and Complex Competence Figures, cognitive ability through the Double Task Test and a capacity with the Walk and Time Up and Go (TUG) tests were evaluated. Significance analysis was performed using the Shapiro Wilk, Student-paired, Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon tests. Results: After the training with Taigeiko, the GE obtained its performance in 4 tests of the 5 testicles, being Complex Figures of Rey (p = 0.0034), walking speed (p = 0,03) and Dupla (p = 0.013), whereas GC was already being tested, whereas prospective research in NEUPSILIN, and its own testing, was also not possible in comparison with the groups in all tests. Conclusion: The Taigeiko itself as an effective session in the rehabilitation of people with MS, both in the actions as in the process of visual memory and immediate memory. Providing the quality of life of MS patients, avoiding social exclusion and the aggravation of exercise by the disease itself.
