Resumen
This project consists of the design and assembly of an amplifier circuit to work as part of a
Langmuir probe that will be used at the university environment for the study and
characterization of plasmas. Simulations were performed, at first, considering a commercial
circuit topology used in audio amplifiers. Different versions of the printed circuit board were
developed, always aiming at improvements on routing, components placement and
performance of the circuit as a whole. The project reached the expectations like frequency
response, slew-rate, output voltage and closed loop gain. All that at a low cost and bearing the
potential to be used as part of future projects developed at the university.
