A importância da merenda escolar no desenvolvimento das crianças na educação infantil

Abstract

This study addresses the importance of school feeding in Early Childhood Education, with the objective of identifying its benefits and contribution to child development as a whole. The theoretical framework is based on a bibliographical research, in the light of authors such as Basilio (2016), Custódio (2020), and the National School Feeding Plan (PNAE). It proposes a new look at school feeding, pointing to its importance in the development and school learning of children, from the vision of how they appropriate, interact and produce their experiences in school. Unifying them to the regional and cultural contexts of the places where they live, since school feeding is unique and distinct in each city and region of the country, using food and products produced in each of them. The conclusion is that the child fed produces and develops itself more integrally, with more dynamism and energy.
