This work aims to reflect on the evaluation of Physical Education at School from the development and discussion of criteria and evaluation instruments for an object of knowledge (content). For this, in the theoretical foundation, there is an overview of the Common National Curriculum Base (2018), as well as Physical Education in this document. Then, the theme of evaluation is discussed. In the methodology, a didactic sequence proposal is conceptualized and presented (ZABALA, 1998; OLIVEIRA, 2013), built taking into account the formative assessment (ZABALA, 1998; PERRENOUD, 1999; SACRISTÁN, 2011). The main results point to the effective possibility of carrying out this type of assessment in the discipline, using different instruments that encompass the three dimensions that must be assessed in Physical Education at School, due to its link with human movement and the relationship with movement body culture: cognitive, motor and attitudinal (DARIDO E SOUZA JR, 2007).
