Inadimplência no setor varejista: análise da política de cobranças na empresa Monjuá em Palmeira das Missões

Due to the increase in the credit concession, many customers now have greater access to the purchase of goods and services, but because some of these consumers are not in a position to repay their debts, the default rate has only increased. Companies must adopt measures to control such noncompliance with commitments obtained, and should always update the client's registration form, noting that the same can become a default and this adversely affects the organization. Linked to this is the collection policy that is adopted, where it must be efficient and capable of guaranteeing the success of the financial sector of the company. Thus, the present study seeks to identify the actions taken by the collections sector of the company Monjuá, located in the city of Palmeira das Missões, in order to identify the causes for the incidence of delinquent clients. For that, a case study was carried out, through documentary analysis, also investigating clients who are in default by applying questionnaires to them, and thus analyzing the results through the use of descriptive statistics. Thus, it was possible to identify that the factors that contributed the most to delinquent clients were family sickness, loss of income and unemployment, which can not be controlled by the company, but it must improve its credit policy and collection.
