O trabalho escravo contemporâneo no Brasil nos últimos 20 anos

Abstract

The study discusses the contemporary slavery in Brazil. The problem of slave labor persists in Brazil since the colonial times, because yours abolition formally decreed in 1888, it did not mean the eradication of fact. The situation of vulnerability of the enslaved workers is due, mainly, the low-skilled and the lack of opportunities in their home city, which enables the supply of cheap labor. The aim of this work is to review existing studies and research in this field, to ascertain the situation of workers in slave status in Brazil, as well as the main forms of manifestation of this type of work and the causes of this problem continues today. Initially the work was conceptualized in the context of the present study. After, it makes up a historical from colonial slavery to free labor. Then seeks to explain what is the contemporary slavery, showing forms of exploitation, economic and social condition to which workers are subjected and he advances of contemporary slave labor in Brazil in the years 1995-2015.
