dc.description.abstract | The electrical power system (SEP) has stages of generation, transmission and distribution of energy and also faces constant problems regarding losses and energy efficiency. The transfor mers are essential equipments that compose the SEP, and as the numerous equipment of the system. So, the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) added the transformers to the Brazilian Labeling Program (PBE) in order to standardize the quality of the transformers distributed throughout the country, reducing losses and providing excelence to the system. So, it is mandatory to implement transformers test laboratories. These laboratories
are responsible for making quality tests on the equipments and classifying them according to the PBE. This document provides details of the design of a signal conditioning unit, made of two instrumentation boards that read tests results on transformers and will be part of the automation of the Medium Voltage Testing Laboratory of the Smart Grids Institute (INRIMT), belonging to the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). | |
