Resumen
The National Humanization Policy is a cross-cutting policy, with principles and guidelines that guide the actions at different levels of the Unified Health System. Humanization comprises the primary health care as a significant space for the qualification of Unified Health System as public policy. This study aims to identify and analyze the knowledge of health workers from Family Health Strategy about the National Humanization Policy . It was carried out by means of a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive approach. The study included 78 workers between community health agents, oral health assistants, dentists, nurses, doctors, residents of a Multidisciplinary Program and nursing technicians. Data were collected through semi-structured individual interview, from June to August 2015 and analyzed through the Textual Analysis Discourse, after this they were classified and grouped according to their meanings in two main categories and six subcategories: 1. Workers knowledge about the National Humanization Policy (know the policy; heard about humanization/ refers practice related to humanization; know the policy, but does not mention practices related to humanization, and do not know it); 2. Humanization exercise (facilities ; difficulties). It was found that the majority of interviewed reported knowing the National Humanization Policy or mentioned practices related to humanization. Nevertheless, it´s needed work the National Humanization Policy as a policy with guidelines and principles in order that humanization not be fragmented or trivialized.
