dc.description.abstractThis article presents a theoretical reflection on the narratives of the current history of public health management in Brazil in the Covid-19 pandemic and studies the impacts on the Unified Health System through news, articles and media. In order to study the influence and consequences of political actions during the Covid-19 pandemic on the country's health system. The management of the pandemic in the country is asynchronous between public authorities and, as a result, has worsened the economic and social imbalance between regions, increased the effects of the virus on the population and, even so, highlighted the importance of the Unified Health System in the face of adversity. The work observes the information and social, political and economic behaviors that affect the functioning of public health in Brazil in the Covid-19 pandemic - in a timeline from the beginning to the present, the first cases, the arrival of the vaccine and finally, reflects on the current moment (2022).
