Planejamento estratégico e balanced scorecard: alternativas gerenciais para uma administradora de condomínios

The adoption of management tools has become, in recent times, a differential for companies, due to the fact that it brings important information to the processes of planning, controlling and decision-making. The effectiveness of these processes ensures the possibility of expanding the competitive advantage and improving results. The company which is the object of study does not use any management tool, and the aim of this study was to determine which option is best for it between Strategic Planning (SP) and the Balanced Scoreboard (BSC), according to its needs. In carrying out the study, a descriptive and qualitative literature research was conducted, with the adoption of an interview. With the data obtained in the interview, SP and BSC were drawn up until the required points to perform the analysis of the tools and confrontation. The results demonstrate that the Balanced Scoreboard is the best management alternative for the administrator, given that its most important requirements are relates to internal processes and relationships, being those the ones that receive most attention of the mentioned tool. Moreover, the lack of control, monitoring of activities and involvement of employees are more effectively supplied with the use of this tool.
