A utilização do geoplano no ensino de probabilidade geométrica: uma possibilidade para o ensino da matemática no ensino médio

Abstract

This work is an experimental class of Probability Teaching in secondary education, with emphasis on the concept of Geometric Probability using Geoplano. The objective of this work is to show the different approaches to the concept of Geometric Probability , unlike that shown in textbooks , both in terms of content and applications and interrelations with other areas of mathematics itself .It starts with a bit of theory and definitions of probability and Geometric Probability, along with some examples and solutions. After a planning how the class was organized it was done.The class begins with the making of Geoplano , shortly after it was introduced a little history of probability and Geometric Probability , followed by a section with theory and practice through problem solving involving the probabilities of Geoplano .In this section, we were applied problems involving probability and geometry using Geoplano, their solutions and analysis of the resolutions of the students in the proposed activities . After class , a self evaluation was applied with questions concerning the methodology used during class.Here are the final considerations of the author and a self questionnaire Appendix evaluation cited above.
