Resumen
The present study sought to highlight the relationship between the psychomotricity and the development of writing, through a transversal descriptive and exploratory research, held in a Basic education school in the town of Quaraí-RS, having as target population twenty children enrolled in the first year of elementary school in this school, and have between six and seven years.First was held to assess the written part from an opinion drafted by Regent's professor of the class, featuring students who write or not according to the performance of classroom activities. nd the tests of motor analysis assessed the fine motor skills according to the scale of Motor Development (EDM). This sample was composed of 60% male and 40% female and, within this sample 55% still do not write and 45% write. Being in males where it obtained the highest number of students who do not write. Engines tests revealed that children have an age lower than chronological biological motor. Also presented the average motor coefficient equivalent to category diagnosed of lower motor standard reinforcing the fact that most children don't write. However the Pearson correlation , significant although not shown , it was found that children increased aged motor (IM) and the motor coefficient ( QM) has a greater opportunity to write to each other. This way, we reaffirm the importance of assessing students ' constant motor to establish educational goals as well as identify motor development components that require special attention in order to stimulate children to achieve its expected motor development.
