Humor e ódio biopolítico: a circulação dos vídeos do personagem Bolsonabo pela página de Bolsonaro no Facebook

Abstract

This work aims to analyze how the circulation of meanings about biopolitical hate occurs from humor posts made by president-elect Jair Bolsonaro on his Facebook page during 2017. The publications refer to the presentment “Mitadas do Bolsonabo”, from the program Pânico na Band, in which the comedian Márvio Lúcio (Carioca) went to the streets characterized in a similar way to Bolsonaro and answered the spectators’ questions. We part of the concepts of mediatization, circulation (BRAGA, 2006, 2012, FAUSTO NETO, 2008, 2010), humor (BERGSON, 2018, GRUDA, 2013), biopolitics (FOUCAULT, 1988, 1999; PELBART, 2009; AGAMBEN, 2002) and discourse (FOUCAULT, 2014; ORLANDI, 2005) to demonstrate how humor can bears marks of a biopolitical hate against certain social groups. The methodology used is Discourse Analysis (FOUCAULT, 2014; ORLANDI, 2005): in a first moment, we analyze the content of the videos shared by the president-elect, and, in a second, the users' comments about them. We observed that, in the videos, the great majority of the jokes is related to women, LGBTs, physical appearance or performance of the spectators. In the comments, we perceived that the hate is destined predominantly to the political left – as an "entity", personified in politicians and, finally, personified in specific users.
