Resumen
Concern about the depletion of energy sources from fossil sources combined with the environmental impacts caused by the consumption of these fuels, provided that in recent decades, renewable energy sources have been introduced to meet the growing need for energy consumption in the world population. Considered ecologically clean and of predominantly uninterrupted availability, this type of energy can be obtained from various arrays, as wind energy. In this context, stands out the Magnus wind turbine, which application favors locations with low wind speeds and amplitude variations throughout the day, making the exploitation of wind energy expanded. The aim of this work is to develop the preliminary and detailed design phases of a Magnus wind turbine rotor blade motion transmission system, especially components such as shafts, gears and bearings. For the development of this work a bibliographical review and research of the elementary concepts on the proposed theme was performed. From the conception defined by Vizzotto (2018) it was possible to size and select the components and, as a result of these steps, reach the final configuration of the system through its three-dimensional representation. Added to this is the construction of a small-scale prototype system using the additive manufacturing concept and using a Stratasys F170 Series F123 3D printer. As a result, obtained a model of the blade movement system as well as the prototype to allow the visualization of the designed equipment and to demonstrate the operation of each applied component.
