Resumen
With the accelerated growth of installed power of photovoltaic generation, the demand for photovoltaic inverters grows in the same way, logically stimulating the development of new inverters and the certification for their commercialization. With the advent of hardware-in-the-
loop (HIL) technology, it became possible to acquire highly reliable results from real-time emulations. Using this technology, this work proposes to accelerate the development of photovoltaic inverters through the development of a platform where the static power converter
is emulated in real time in HIL, while the control operates externally in the photovoltaic inverter processor, for that the inverter firmware be tested according to the tests required by the technical standards. This work describes the test bench developed for the interaction between real control and emulation, as well as a test procedure performed automatically in accordance with Brazilian standards. Experimental results performed with commercial converters and prototypes are presented to demonstrate the test procedures developed and the reliability of the results obtained similar to the final test for certification with real equipment.
