Resumen
The challenges of consolidating a company in the market are many, which demand strategy in action and clarity in decisions. In the quest to maintain rationality during project selection, a multi-criteria method was explored, capable of quantifying subjective allocation characteristics and making them comparable to each other. A method that should be understood as a facilitator, a thought structuring process and not just a decision algorithm, it is the Hierarchical Process Analysis (AHP) method. This quantitative study was developed in a relatively young company with 4 years of experience in the market, located in Santa Maria (RS). Its objective is to develop a project selection model based on the AHP method, using a prescriptive model of analysis, making it possible to evaluate the priority relationship according to the consistency in the judgments defined by the managers. Through semi-structured interviews to collect information, five projects and seven criteria were defined and, among the options that obtained the highest score, was the investment in tooling/technological, a result consistent with the perspective of a growing company, a reference in quality in its field. of acting.
