Distance learning is an educational modality that has made great advances, being
suggested as a way of teaching that facilitates access to the study, providing new learning
opportunities. In view of this new form of education, the objective of this study was to verify
the teaching methodology in teacher training in distance education mode, to analyze the
actual performance and verifying the acceptability of teaching students about their training. In
seeking to verify the effectiveness of distance learning in teacher education, we analyzed the
methodology used in teaching pedagogy courses, 4th semester, the Pólo Faxinal Soturno, as
well as preparing students to use technology tools to environment in which activities are
proposed. Through a questionnaire, a survey was made of students' experiences in the use
of information technology and communication to their training and experience and verified
the possible difficulties encountered in implementing the course through the distance mode.
It reveals that the students approve distance learning feasible considering the use of
technological resources for learning. Consider that learning depends on the interest of each,
but are demanding more educational materials, different methods of assessment, greater
interaction between students, tutors and teachers
