This work develops a public selection process management system based on the web platform. For the development of the work, are used various technologies and concepts to build a more flexible system and with better maintenance. In the design of the application are used concepts and tools based on the BPM methodology and the development used the SOA platform. It was decided to use BPM project in the system of this work, as this methodology ensures a quick development of the system, making it flexible and allowing the reuse of the system, with legacy technologies. After BPM, several tools and technologies that make possible the implementation of the system were developed, being chosen BPMN to create the business process flow of the application and orchestration with BPEL. It was used SOA architecture to ensure a availability platform for web services. These services are distributed and available on a web platform being managed with servers based on SOA. Moreover, such services can be developed in different programming languages without affecting the operation of the system and can be easily replaced. Finally, with the union of BPM methodologies with SOA architecture it’s possible to develop a complete system to manage public selection processes, based on the prerequisites available on Marcos Vinicius de Souza’s monograph. This monograph was a important basis for the development of this system, and it has differences in the way it was developed.
