A utilização de aplicativos como estímulo à aprendizagem de alunos com deficiência intelectual na educação infantil

Since the implementation of the National Policy on Special Education, the Inclusive education has pointed to the need to use new resources and methodologies for the stimulation, development and learning of the students, the target public of the policy. On this sense, for these included students to succeed in school development, it is necessary for them to be stimulated. Among the ways, in terms of resource, that can help them in this process is the use of applications available on smartphones and tablets. Thus, this research aims to analyze the extent to which an application for literacy aids in the stimulation and cognitive development of a student with intellectual disability in early childhood education. The research has a qualitative approach, with exploratory objectives and a methodological procedure of participant research. The subject is a student of early childhood education with a diagnosis of intellectual disability. The research instrument was the field diary, in which the results of the student's use of the mobile alphabet and an application on the tablet were observed. From the discussion of the results and data analysis it is possible to conclude that the student responded to the interactions in less time with the use of the application and that the application, by providing interaction and possessing innovative and playful characteristics, offers more stimulation than conventional materials.
