Resumen
This study in the area of Surface Design involves the creation of textile prints for children's clothing covering the age group of 4 to 12 years through a proposal from the child's own drawing. From the images of children's graphics, the technique of Sashiko Embroidery was used as textile interference, in order to create a differentiated and attractive collection for Textile Design. For a better understanding of the theme and development of this research, it became relevant to study subjects related to children's graphics, children's clothing and its visual appeal, surface design, stamping techniques, technical data and textile production processes. For this purpose, experimental studies were proposed with the creation of infantile patterns, based on the selection of the drawings collected in the empirical research and the subsequent creation of thematic prints, ending with the printing of the print on the tissue through the sublimical transfer. This collection, together with the methodology of Lobach (2001) and Bonsiepe (1984) chosen for development and creative processes will be presented in the final chapters of this work. The theoretical study served as a planning basis for the development of patterns for application in six pieces in children's clothing, thus combining theory with practice.
