Resumen
This term paper proposes the development of a direct injection driver for solenoid injectors applied to Otto engines, employing a repetitive controller on the output stage. The fuel injectors typically used in direct injection systems operate with pressures that range from 150 to 300 BAR, possess a low resistance of about 1Ω, and demand a driving time in the order of milliseconds. Therefore, a specific driver is employed, which can be subdivided in two stages: i) output stage, responsible for synthesizing the current that drives the injector and ii) input stage, composed of a high-gain voltage converter to obtain a voltage of typically 70V from a 12V-battery. The output stage circuit will be presented based on previous works found in the literature, and different repetitive control strategies will be considered in order to: improve transient response, maintain stability under parametric variation and mitigate periodic disturbances. Whilst for the input stage a number of topologies of high-gain converters will be evaluated.
