dc.description.abstractThis paper presents an analysis of the company JBS economic and financial indicators. It was done in order to verify if there is a significant difference demonstrated in the company's indicators in relation to its main competitor, BRF, and in relation to some other companies of the same market sector. In order to do so, a deepening of the theories about economic financial indicators was carried out. Then the Wilcoxon nonparametric test was applied and, finally, the indicators were analyzed. The analysis showed that there is significant difference between the indicators since, in 10 out of the 13 indicators analyzed when compared to BRF and in 8 out of the 13 indicators when compared to some other companies from the same sector.
