Resumen
Skin injuries caused by trauma in small animals are highly frequent in the clinical surgery routine. Several wounds can be easily healed by primary intention, or treated until healed by secondary intention. Some of those, however, require intensive care at desinfection and reconstructive surgery so as to correct the flaw. At a case of extensive traumatic wound on a feline’s cervical region, a combination of an axial pattern flap and advancement flap was used in order to close the wound, preserve the region’s flexibility and reach a good aesthetic result.
