For a long time religious teaching was in a doctrinal way defined by a set of principles that served as a basis, where many teachers carry the marks of this teaching, currently some seek to adapt to a new routine giving space to different manifestations of each religion, if willing to articulate, in the light of the revised theory, the real difficulties. They share knowledge not only about religious life, but also school and professional, considering that both paths cross when we talk about Religion. Thus, this article aims to identify the positive points of religious education in the academic education of pedagogy teachers. Seeking to understand how religious education during the academic education of teachers in early grades contributes not only to their personal, but also to their professional development. Thus, the present article is the main tool for narrative research, and the autobiographical method to support research. It is preliminarily concluded that the path to understand the place and the real meaning applied to Religious education as a component of paramount importance for the curriculum, and also its recognition and acceptance, is generated in a good part of the educator's posture, of his do in the school space in its most varied teaching stages.
