This Monograph had as guiding theme the formation and performance of school manager in relation to restorative practices in schools. This work looks for further research and studies related to restorative practices and their relationships with legislation and education, with the aim of supporting authorizing the knowledge necessary for their performance in school. The aim of this study was to identify factors that contribute to the attainment of restorative practices in schools, as well as training and educational role of the manager to undertake referrals and shared democratic participatory regard to conflicts at school. The methodology included a qualitative approach, through a search field next to a school and their managers in the city of Santa Maria / RS. This research analyzed the intertwining of restorative practices and the training and performance of the school manager. Based on the study it was possible to visualize the importance of restorative practices in conflict resolution in school, because it is an alternative to the need to improve inter and intrapersonal relationships in a world that is looking for peace and harmony. We concluded that the understanding of restorative practices in the school is important, as well as the importance of managers to use new strategies in the pacification of conflicts in school because they must always be in continuous pursuit of knowledge and learning.
