Highlighting a brand today is not a simple task for the Public Relations. Make sure that a brand shows reliance, credibility and loyalty to its audience is a
complicated mission in a society where brands are constantly vying for visibility. Thus, branding seeks to innovate in actions and strategies to conquer attention of its audiences, through concepts such as Sensory Marketing, Sound Branding and Logo Sound. This paper aims to bring out these concepts aligned with image, reputation and institutional identity for the development of sound logo planning for the Federal University of Santa Maria. Through a bibliographic research that traced UFSM identification points, it was possible to align this data together with that of Branding, Sound Branding, Sensory Marketing and Sound Logo to put together a plan that aims to create a sound logo for UFSM. At the end of this work, a strategic plan was attached that took over concepts presented throughout the text and presented strategic actions to perform the development of creating a sound logo.
