CAPES This dissertation aims to analyze discursive practices in the National Policy of Men's Health Integral Care (NPMHIC) implementation process, with focus in the discursive repertoires on masculinities in this policy's publicity/official media. It's an investigation that starts from a knowledge constructivist perspective, the gender feminist perspective. It's based on studies that take masculinity as a study object, starting from the 1980s, driven by reflections from the 1960s, especially from two major movements: 1) the feminist movement and 2) the LGBTI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender/Transsexual and Intersex) movement. As a theoretical-methodological reference, we opted for Discursive Psychology (DP) and its contributions to the discursive practices analyses. In this theoretical-epistemological understanding, a great emphasis is given to the way subjects produce meanings in their daily relations, from different crossings, including face-to-face interactions and media productions, which implies us to think the social research as a privileged way to produce meanings, whether by the researcher or the research subject. Methodologically, we carried out a mapping of the advertising materials of the NPMHIC campaigns on its pages of the Health Ministry and on the Facebook® platform and, then, we created a big chart with all the productions (banners, posters, folders, leaflets, etc.), with their descriptive aspects (campaign title, theme, type of material, source and internet address). From this first exercise, we organized an analysis map into four repertoires sets: 1) health and well-being; 2) masculinities and family; 3) men and violence; and, 4) sexual diversity. Based on this analysis, it was possible to observe the recurrence in campaign material of hegemonic constructions on the masculine and the feminine, although these coexist in a contradictory way with other ways of meaning production. We also point out that the (in)visibility's game in the analyzed material reiterates the hegemonic masculinity model associated with the idea of a white, young, heterosexual and middle class man.
