In response to the increasing complexity, instability, and competitiveness that characterize today's society, the place of creativity has become increasingly broad and interdisciplinary, whether to meet academic, labor, institutional or community needs. From the perspective of the socio-historical and dialogical perspective, we go through the theoretical approach left by Vygotsky and Bakhtin, who through diverse ways, sought to understand the constitution of the subject concerning the other through language, developing essential conceptual bases of the creative act that perspectives in this work. In agreement with these approaches, we rely on the contemporary view of the researcher Vlad Glăveanu, who, with the Cultural Psychology of Creativity, seeks to build a dynamic and systemic model for the study of creative phenomena. We aimed to understand the dynamism of the creative process in the development of artifacts in an innovation institution. We adopted the observational qualitative idiographic approach structured in three phases: participant observation, video recording of an ideation meeting, and an interview with a participant subject of the collective moment which occurs concomitantly with the exhibition of clippings of the collective activity. The results and discussions were based on the environment of the institution, on the actors' perspectives during the negotiations of meanings in the collective moment, and on the expansion of the creative process by exploring the agentive dimension of a participant. We have obtained a process in which a diffused demand, with a chaotic semblance, is transformed into a problem, which in turn happens to be the result of a dynamic process and collectively constructed in the negotiations of the meanings referring to the demands, immersed in a linguistic dimension proper to the game of tensions acting in the perspectives of the actors, in which the problem assumes a certain temporal implication in relation to the solution. Our main contribution is the proposal of a method for studies on the psychological dimension of the creative process in a sociocultural-historical approach.
