Avaliação da Vulnerabilidade Ambiental de Bacias Hidrográficas no Rio Grande do Norte

Abstract

Environmental vulnerability studies have been frequent and cover different environmental systems, becoming a tool that collaborates on identification and assessment of environmental impacts. In this way, it becomes important the development of environmental vulnerability studies of watersheds. The aim of this work is to evaluate the environmental vulnerability of watersheds of the semiarid, identifying indicators that represent region reality. The watersehed of Campo Grande reservoirs, Cruzeta, Pau dos Ferros e Umari were chosen, they located in different parts of the Rio Grande do Norte. For the purposes of this evaluation the Vulneragri methodology was used, from the consideration of 13 indicators divided in into the exposure, sensibility of environment and response capacity criteria. The watersheds have presented medium vulnerability, not indicating difference in the result by the geographical location diverse.
