Análise de métodos indiretos para determinação do Coeficiente de Permeabilidade de Solos Arenosos

Abstract

The soil presents voids, filled with air or water, which water percolates between them and the ease of this percolation is called soil permeability. The present research work verifies the correlation between physical characteristics of the sandy soil with its permeability, more specifically the granulometry and voids. Thus, through bibliographic research, a database of soil characteristics was created to be graphically analyzed the behavior of the hydraulic conductivity. Based on the empirical formulas of Allen Hazen, Taylor and Casagrande, it was sought to use them to find an equation that takes into account the variation of the void ratios and the effective diameter of sandy soils.
