dc.description.abstract | For a better analysis of the external flow on the surface of an object it is necessary to be executed in an environment with controlled conditions, such as in a wind tunnel and where the parameters known for data acquisition, such as the pressure coefficient, have been the goal of improving the study of aerodynamics. This study sought to analyze the pressure coefficient around a circular acrylic cylinder with a diameter of 19 mm inside the wind tunnel and subjected to a uniform flow velocity of 18.81 m/s. For this it was necessary to manufacture the cylinder, a structure to reduce the test area (582 c), use of anemometer and also being necessary the calibration to use the sensors. With this, the cylinder was attached to the structure with the sensors installed to the cylinder, for data acquisition. In this way, the structure tested, according to the acquired data, proved the behavior of the development of the theoretical and practical pressure coefficient around the acrylic cylinder, and the compatibility between the data obtained in this study and the data presented in the literature. | |
