O Serviço Social e a categoria da alienação: uma leitura comparativa da alienação nos periódicos do Serviço Social a partir do jovem Marx

Abstract

The objective of this Monograph was to analyze the forms of use of the category of alienation used in Social Work periodicals and to make a comparative analysis of these uses with the forms of use that Marx makes in the Paris Manuscripts. As a bibliographic research, articles from the magazines Katálysis and Social Services and Society were selected, which contained the category of alienation. From the collected data, information was tabulated and the data obtained was analyzed regarding the concepts of use addressed in these articles. Subsequently, we read the entire Economic-philosophical Manuscripts of 1844, aiming to analyze the forms of uses of alienation that Marx brings in this work. As results, we identified that, of the 121 articles analyzed, 59 did not present references when citing the analyzed category, as well as a myriad of uses related to the use of the category, where we identified that some forms of use were repeated. In this sense, we delimited four classifications: political alienation, work alienation, subjective alienation and methodological alienation. For the confrontation between the uses of the articles and the uses in Marx's work, we selected six categories identified in the Paris Manuscripts: fundamentals of alienation, alienation of the object; alienation of work, alienation of humankind, alienation of the human essence and overcoming alienation, where we identified that some are congruent, refers to the conception presented by Marx in his work, while others are very different, showing no relationship with the work of author of the Paris Manuscripts of 1844.
