Resumen
The present work was written with the objective of presenting a case study on the paradigms of remote teaching in the Accounting Sciences course, from the Department of Exact and Applied Sciences, at the Centro de Ensino Superior do Seridó, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, in view of the changes caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, bringing the students' view of this teaching model used. Its general objective was to analyze the current conjuncture of the change of teaching to the remote format in the course of Accounting Sciences in times of pandemic. It was a quantitative and descriptive research, as it sought to describe all the data collected through the perception of 111 respondents. A questionnaire was applied for data collection, which included 10 questions. The main results are that despite the dissatisfaction with the change from classroom teaching to the remote format, students have adapted well to this new reality and are willing to continue with this modality in some subjects when everything returns to normal. This study benefits the academic network of the Accounting Sciences Course at CERES UFRN, as it presents a detailed view of the students' views and perspectives on the change in teaching, still needs adjustments regarding the transfer of program contents and preparation of teachers, in addition to the platforms used to this end.
