Resumen
The good knowledge of the loads acting in an aircraft and its elements helps in achieving maximum dynamic performance and better flight safety, leading to more robust aircraft design. Aiming the validation of the dynamic behaviour, this project aims the development of a multiaxis loadcell capable of measuring forces and moments acting in an aircraft designed for AeroDesign SAE competitions. This project is divided into three stages - geometry concept and data acquisition development; elastic element manufacturing; mechanical system and data acquisition integration -, focusing on the development of a multiaxis loadcell capable to measure static and dynamic propulsion system thrust curve, as well the lift and drag of an airfoil, and other elements of interest. However, the current work focuses on the first stage, which had the goal to analyse the geometric shape of an elastic element with a circular pattern to be used in the development of the loadcell's sensing element. The results from this analysis were used to find out an analytical equation to calculate the response from a stimulus. Besides those analyses, an embedded system performs the data acquisition was also developed to be used inside the loadcell, with major feature the calculation in real-time of the response due to external stimulus, using the previews found equations. To achieve this, the necessary resources in hardware and software level were developed in a way to be capable to sense those stimuli, filter associated noise, and return the equivalent response for the stimulus.
