Abstract

This bachelor thesis is a preliminary study on airport support services, applied to the Sāo Gonçalo Airport, focused on sustainability concepts, with guidelines on bioclimatic architecture, on energy reduction and environmentally friendly management. Regarding energy efficiency, the proposal is supported by sustainable solutions in order to establish design strategies that are a continuation of the building aesthetic identity, as a way to enhance the environmental responsibility through architectural design. The expected result will be adding value to the services offered, improving energy efficiency, as well as improving marketing strategies of the services companies. This Eco-friendly building is planned to reduce the impact of construction on the environment, meeting the current need of reduction of natural resources of the planet, in addition to meeting the demands of Eco-conscious travelers.
