Resumen
The bank of terms of the special language of nursing detects concepts that help in the construction of diagnoses, results and interventions of nursing. The use of this bank aimed at people living with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is a key step in identifying of an own vocabulary, being able to be used in nursing care, reinforcing their safety and quality in a systematic way. In this context, objective was to construct a bank of terms of the special language of for people living with the immunodeficiency syndrome acquired, using the International Classification for Nursing Practice 2013.This is a methodological study carried out in a hospital in the treatment of infectious diseases in Northeast Brazil. The research was developed in four stages: 1) extraction of the terms of the medical records and elimination of the repetitions; 2) stand
ardization of terms; 3) cross-mapping between extracted terms and the terms in CIPE® version 2013; 4) refinement of terms. Approval was obtained from the Ethics Research of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte under opinion nº 1.177.410 and Certificate of Presentation for Ethical Appreciation nº 47380915.2.0000.5537. We identified 559 terms, which were submitted to process of cross-mapping and validation of the experts which resulted in 522 terms, being 304 constants and 218 not included in the International Classification for Nursing Practice version 2013. With the accomplishment of this study, it was possible to know the terms used by the nursing team in the assistance to people living with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, which will make it possible to use in the development of diagnosis / results statements and nursing interventions, as well as the unification of the professional language of the nurse.
