dc.description.abstract | This work focuses on the use of digital mobile devices in a music video by an independent artist idealized in Natal during a period of social isolation. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted, at first, in the cancellation of several productions related to the phonographic and audiovisual market all over the world. At that pojnt, artists found on digital mobile devices a way to continue their work even at home. The result of this process was the popularization of homemade productions even by major players in the music industry, an unprecedented phenomenon that allowed, even momentarily, the approximation of a traditional and independent activity at the center of the use of the music video as an artistic expression and product. Thinking about understanding this context, the present work, by means of bibliographic research, followed by na interview with the artist, seeks to unravel the creative process that culminated in the creation of the music vídeo called “Mais”, by singer Dias Blue, entering into the messages propagated by this work in the which refers to the historical period in which it is inserted. Through its lens, a search was made about the history of the video clip as a genre, understanding its transformation since it was consolidated on television. The work also proposes about LGBTQIAP+ representativeness and independent scene in the context of the phonographic market in Brazil. | |
