dc.description.abstractCurrently there are a large number of electronic billing meters already installed that do not have a function of recording quality of electricity, and also have a monitoring system and consumption management, being the criterion of the concessionaire establish a period of presentation of the consumer. results, usually on a monthly basis on the electricity bill. To help the consumer to monitor his expenses, an electronic meter has been developed that can inform the essential parameters of consumption and quality of electricity. In addition, the developed meter allows the remote recording, storage and control of information, presenting a simple and functional non-intrusive method for measuring electricity consumption. Additionally, comparative experiments are performed with reference equipment used in the market, through the errors obtained the accuracy and reliability of the measurements are evaluated according to current standards criteria. Through the analysis of the results found it is possible to realize that the developed device is suitable to perform the monitoring of the proposed parameters.
