Percepção da Diretoria Executiva Nacional de Estudantes de Fonoaudiologia sobre os impactos da conjuntura política brasileira (2016-2019) no SUS

Abstract

The student movements are discussion tools that highlight the expression of the young in society and that in history is present in the struggles for rights. This is a qualitative case study, whose scenario is the non-profit representative entity National Executive Board of Speech-Language Pathology Students (DENEFONO). Data collection took place from July 24 to 28, 2019, during the National Speech Therapy Students Meeting, in Recife / PE, at the Federal University of Pernambuco. Participated in the research 5 undergraduate students of Speech Language Pathology, members of DENEFONO in the management 2018/2019. Data were produced by performing the focus group technique and analyzed using the Content Analysis method. From this, four categories of analysis were identified: The role of the entity that represents the speech therapy student in Brazil; Understanding of the members of DENEFONO about the political conjuncture of the country from 2016 to 2019; DENEFONO's political position in the period 2016-2019; and Impacts of the 2016-2019 political conjuncture for Speech Therapy and SUS. It was noticed that the participants understand the main role of the entity that is to represent the students at the national level, are enlightened about the events that occurred in the Brazilian conjuncture and the consequences of these attitudes in the SUS.
